“I’m not “KJ Only”, I am “Textus Receptus Only”. If you’re thinking of throwing this book away, don’t. It is worthwhile looking into Did the Reformation come from the Bible in your hand or did it come from the Textus Receptus?”

John Higgins, Pastor, Calvary Chapel Tri-City, Tempe AZ

Hey! Thanks for the wake up call on the different versions of the Bible. The first version I read was a K J V which was my Grandmas; I felt like I really developed a close relationship with the Lord reading that book. I had misplaced it during several moves and picked up other versions here and there. I was praying for a K J V after talking with you…several months ago. We moved since then and one day before Christmas it showed up on my nightstand next to my bed. Amazing! How did it know I was looking for it? LOL!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Thanks, Robert C. California

I just wanted to say thanks so much for having the courage and persistence to gently show me the issues with the NKJ bible during the conference. I'm on page. 49 in the book [ENOUGH!!], and I'm continually being shocked by the terrible problems with the NKJ! Anyway, my dad bought me a KJ Thompson Chain Study Bible, and I feel like I'm (born again) again as I read the word now. I don’t know how to put in words how blessed I feel...Any way God bless you, keep abounding in the work of the Lord, I know that I truly benefited from you.                                                                                                                                                         John W. Korah died for contra-dicting (=“gainsaying”=antilogos) God’s Word through Moses. Likewise, all Bibles since 1611 are paraphrased (man’s words) translations of messed-with manuscripts – “gainsaying” God’s perfectly-preserved original Words. Aren’t these “Tares” (Matt.13:24-30) look-a-like wheat that causes sleepiness, dizziness, and even death – unhealthy grain for “the Bread of Life”? Jesus hates this! (Rev. 2:6,15)

“Korahites” today usually do say they believe the Bible was perfectly inspired by God, BUT ONLY “as originally written”, NOT PRESERVED TO OUR DAY. Aren’t they contradicting God? (1) In not trusting His promises to preserve His Word (Ps.12:6,7;138:2;Matt.5:18“every jot”;24:35“my words”) and (2) in the substitution of the Roman Catholic “Vaticanus” for the King James manuscripts (which are textually supported by 6000+ manuscripts — 1:6000); they disagree in 8000+ places in just the NT! Korahites have also been seen grinding their private theological axes in the holy place; for instance, F.J. Hort said, “Mary worship and Jesus worship have very much in common in cause and in their results” (Life of Hort, Vol.2, p.50 – this feminine co-redemptor heresy began at the Tower of Babel). Do keep Hort’s theological convictions in mind as we look at changes he and Westcott made in the Bible (the 8000+ changes in the New Testament), basically turning the KJ into Vaticanus, to form a Greek text which is unquestionably the main basis of all new bible versions. “Contradicting” the Divinely strategic preserved Word is serious to God – Screaming children swallowed up by the earth, and 15,000 people dead, in judgment for Korah’s Satanically strategic powergrab (Numbers 16).

This Factsheet (1) shows some dark secrets about bible versions, (2) makes resources available, and (3) reveals attempts to lead us (astray) by the patterns in the Bible changes, a “bend sinister”:
Pattern # 1
Matt.26:45 “Sleep on now, and take your rest” KJ, the Shepherd’s tender care, becomes
“Are you still sleeping and resting?” NKJ, NIV, NASV, RSV, ESV, HCSV.
Hundreds of verses where names of Deity are deleted: “Christ Jesus” becomes “Jesus” or “He”, separating “Christ” from “Jesus”; the Vaticanus/New Greek tends to resurrect the Gnostic Heresy which denied the Lord’s humanity and His deity. See I John 4:2,3.
Luke 12:49 “ what will I, if it be already kindled?” KJ, (Subjunctive mood: if/when) becomes
“how I wish it were already kindled!” NKJ, NIV, NASV, RSV, ESV, HCSV. What? The Almighty, The Lord Jesus Christ, “wishes” to burn mankind, but isunable to do so? (Do see Ps.2:6-9 – the Son need only to ask for the entire world!)
Matt.20:20 “... the mother ... with her sons, worshipping him” KJ, becomes
“... the mother ... with her sons, kneeling down” NKJ, NASV, HCSV, ESV.
It’s called “genuflection” – a religious act. This translation weakens the proof here that, as God, Christ
accepted worship. The Greek doesn’t say “kneel”.
(Also see in Comparison John 7:17,18; Acts 9:1,2; 17:22; Gal. 2:20; Eph. 3:9; + Phil. 2:6, NKJ first edition; .... )
Pattern # 2
II Cor.2:15 “Are saved” (I Cor.1:18 too) KJ, somehow becomes “are being saved”
NKJ, NIV, NASV, ESV, as in purgatory and other works-based religions.
Rom.11; Heb.3 “belief” KJ, becomes “obedience” NKJ, NIV, NASV, RSV, ESV, HCSV,
which is Grace converted to works “or grace is no more grace” (Rom.11:6). Gal.5:22 “Faith” KJ, becomes“faithfulness” NKJ, NIV, NASV, RSV, ESV – a work.
(Also compare Eph. 4:22; I Thess. 4:11; II Thess. 3:5; Rev. 19:8 .... )
Pattern # 3
Col.4:10 “Commandments” KJ, becomes “instructions” NKJ, NASV, HCSV, ESV.
This was, in effect, a critical “command” to receive the Gospel of Mark which was inspired through Mark!
Acts 26:16 “I will appear unto thee” KJ, becomes
“I will yet reveal to you” NKJ, NIV. He personally “appeared” to the Apostles. (“Am I not an
apostle? ... have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord?” I Cor.9:1.)
II Cor.10:13 “rule” KJ, becomes “sphere” NKJ, ESV. The context is perhaps the prime Scriptural treatise dealing with Apostleship.
(Also compare Acts 15:37-39; I Cor. 6:4; II Cor. 11:12; Gal. 2:6 .... )
Pattern # 4
Matt.9:18 “my daughter has just died” NKJ, NIV, ESV, but,
Luke 8:42 “she was dying” NKJ, NIV, ESV; they contradict themselves!
Matt.26:15 “And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver” NKJ,NIV,HCSV,ESV, but, Mark 14:11 “promised to give him money” NKJ,NIV,HCSV,ESV; they contradict again!
Rom.3:25 Saved “through faith in his blood” KJ, the true Gospel, not faith in faith as in:
Saved “by His blood, through faith” NKJ, NASV, RSV, ESV.
I Tim.6:10 “love of money is the root of all evil” KJ, becomes
“love of money is a root of all kinds of evil” NKJ, NRSV, ESV, NIV, HCSV. “Fondness for
silver” drives some to make bad bibles if there’s good profit!
For exclusive sales right, The Derivative Copyright Law states that the NKJ had to be sufficiently changed from the KJ. Many of the required changes were generated by translating a highly edited TR text using Dynamic Equivalency, wherein they added, subtracted, and changed what the Hebrew and Greek says in 2000+ places (all absolutely forbidden by God – knowingly change “one jot or one tittle” of God’s Word, and it is no longer God’s Words, but man’s words). NKJ replaced the KJ Hebrew with R. Kittel (“Hitler’s Theologian”) BHS Hebrew (which has more doubts what the Hebrew text is than there are verses in the Old Testament) and with the Septuagint. (The 350 A.D. Greek Old Testament of Vaticanus is the Septuagint!)
Should we buy such “salvage-yard” bibles, provoking the Lord by “contradicting” His preserved Word? In our controlling parallel passage, Moses said “Depart, I pray you, from ... these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs” (Num.16:26). This is a hard saying, but doesn’t this say “touch nothing of” the new versions; call them Commentaries! But if the original Bible is preserved to our day, where is it? For English speakers, the KJ is the original Bible (the 15-20 legitimate textual questions about the KJ Hebrew and Greek TR have all been refined to preservation (as promised in Psalm 12:6).
A preserved “original” Bible text would make every textual variant an error!
The following resources will help:

-The book, ENOUGH!! The New King James Bible, Do We Need it? tells the rest of the story

– all 29 texts on this Fact sheet and hundreds more are compared in detail in this 200 page book.

-The Authorized King James 1611/20011 has 21st century spelling, but not one textual change from the KJ
