Himalayan salt

History Of Himalayan Pink Salt

The Himalayan crystal salt is made from the crystallized ancient salt sea beds that got buried under the deep layers of ice, lava and snow. The Himalayan range that grew over this salt bed protected and preserved the salt by maintaining an untouched, pollution free environment. The salt is mined down to 5000 feet beneath the Himalayan range that makes it 99% purer than the other forms of salt.

Why Himalayan Salt Is Healthy?

The locals living in its place of origin refer to Himalayan salt as “white gold”, as it consists of up to 84 natural trace  minerals and elements like iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, chloride and calcium, which are essential for human health. This salt gets a faint pink hue due to the presence of a small amount of iron oxide. It also has traces of copper, zinc, iodine and selenium, which makes it exponentially healthier than table salt that has been extensively processed, stripping it of its natural minerals.

Himalayan salt                                                - True pink Himalayan salt is one of the purest salts.

- 84 essential minerals required by the body human                    - Is a good source of magnesium of which 80% of all

individuals are deficient                                                                      - Promotes a healthy pH balance of the cells

- Helps relieve headaches, increases energy, inproves adrenal

  and thyroid function

- Helps regulate blood sugar levels

- Helps regulate the body’s natural sleep cycle                               - Contains all l6 of the electrolytes required for health

- Naturally rich in Iodine

- Hand-mined in the Himalayan Mountains, no dynamite

- Contains about 87% sodium chloride, calcium 0.16%,

   magnesium 0.1%, potassium 0.28%, and iron 0.04%

- Himalayan salt lamps are believed to cleanse the air and

  promote restful sleep.

- Doesn’t burden the body. It’s easily metabolized.

- Helps the body energize and has a beneficial effect on the

  function of the nervous system.

Table salt

-Heavily processed to eliminate natural minerals

- Most often some really health-hazardous, anti-caking compounds are added to prevent clumping.

- Many commercial table salts are chemically

processed and also undergo a bleaching process

adding aluminum derivatives and other terrible

ingredients known to be highly toxic to humans.

- Iodine is artificially added.

- Extracted through the use of dynamite

- Contains about 97.5% sodium chloride and 2.5% other chemicals, calcium 0.03%, potassium .09%, magnesium 0.01%, iron 0.01%

-Table salt is particularly hard on both the

circulatory system and nervous system. It also

wreaks havoc on the delicate balance of the

lymph system in the body. This salt is also

highly addictive; the more the body becomes

used to the high levels of fake sodium, the more

  it craves it.

Himalayan Salt Sole: Sole is water fully saturated with unrefined  salt. When Himalayan salt dissolves in water, it results in a concentrated, electrically charged matrix of the 84 trace minerals in the salt. The ionic salt and trace minerals nourish each cell in your body.                     The benefits of Himalayan Salt Sole include:

  • Detoxifies the body by balancing systemic pH, Improves hydration by providing trace minerals.
  • Improves mineral status of the body; reduces muscle cramps by improving minerals and hydration.
  • Helps balance blood sugar; supports hormone balance for everyone, no matter what hormonal issues you face.
  • Helps balance blood pressure because it provides unrefined, mineral-rich salt in an ionic solution.  Improves sleep by supporting blood sugar and hormone balance.  Acts as a powerful antihistamine.  Supports weight loss by balancing hormones and improving energy; supports thyroid and adrenal function.
  1. How to make Salt Sole: Fill a glass jar about 1/4 of the way with Himalayan salt, either ground or in chunks. Fill the rest of the way with filtered water. Add a plastic lid (not metal!), shake and let sit overnight. You should always have some undissolved salt in the jar; this means the water is fully saturated.  Add more salt if needed.  In the morning, take 1 tsp. of sole, mixed into some room temperature water.  Never use metal utensils with your Sole!
  2. Keep refilling your jar with salt and water when it runs low. It lasts indefinitely.

A quarter-teaspoon of Himalayan salt contains about 500 mg of sodium. You can use this salt a little bit more freely compared to the table salt, but still limit your consumption.

One of the benefits of Himalayan salt over other salts is how many minerals and elements it contains – 84! Each of the Himalayan salt minerals have different health benefits, so if you ever wondered what is in our pink salt, this is it!

Iodine – this mineral is fundamental for healthy thyroid gland hormones. It helps metabolism regulation and energy production in the body, and it is also important for cellular oxidation. It is easy to spot iodine’s vital importance to overall health, since thyroid hormones play a role in all body functions.
Calcium – no strong bones and teeth without his mineral.
Hydrogen – this element is vital for the body’s principal energy source – adenosine triphosphate (ATP). It is the source of protons required for ATP production.
Phosphorus – part of all cells in the body, with major concentration in the bones and teeth. Important element for DNA and RNA formation, a B-complex vitamins catalyzer, it helps produce energy and increase endurance. It’s included in cellular communication and many enzymatic reactions.
Nitrogen – this mineral is important for digestion and growth.
